 The Flatirons Building Council's 18th Annual Golf Tournament will kick off on Monday, May 5, 2008 with a 9:00 am shotgun start. The event will be held at the Omni Interlocken Resort & Golf Club in Broomfield. A great day on a spectacular course.

 Denver Water is working toward monthly billing and a new Customer Information System (CIS). In addition to CIS and billing, which impact rates, the Denver Water Board has asked its staff to conduct a review of tap fees (system development charges or SDCs). This review will include how the value of water rights are calculated, the differential SDC charge between inside city and suburban service areas, and other issues. The outcomes of this review will have an impact on future tap fee charges, so this is a matter of importance to the HBA and its members.
