Call for Legends Award Nominations

Each year, the Legends Award Selection Committee in conjunction with the HBA selects an individual to be recognized as a Legends Award winner at the MAME Awards. The Legends Award honors design, marketing and sales professionals whose participation in the home building industry has contributed significantly to the success of builders through innovation, leadership and performance excellence. The Legends Award also recognizes those individuals that have supported, sustained and provided opportunities to those professionals and embraced their work.

The Selection Committee is currently seeking nominations for this year's Legends Award candidates. The nomination period is currently open and closes on Friday, August 4, 2017. Please click on the link below to nominate a candidate.
Preferred attributes of a Legends Award recipient include: 
Contributions to their specific profession and have garnered respect within that profession for their achievements, advancements of ideas, and body of work.
Contributions to the SMC, Denver HBA and NAHB in the way of participation, leadership and service.
The nominee should be an individual who will be remembered or is known for his or her impact in the design, marketing or sales success of home builders.
Must be a member of the Denver HBA.
Must be present to receive the award.
The nominee may only win the award once.
There are no constraints on the number or make up of annual inductees.
The MAME Legend winner(s) will be honored at the MAME Awards ceremony on Saturday, November 4, 2017. You must be an active HBA member in order to nominate an individual for the Award.
Nominations will be submitted to the Legends Award Selection Committee for consideration. The Committee is composed of the following individuals: 
SMC Chair and Co-Chair
MAME Chair and Co-Chair
HBA Executive Officer
Past recipients of the Legends Award
The Committee will meet in August to make an award selection according to the attributes described above.
