Safety a Top Priority for Shea Homes

On June 10th, the JobSite Safety Committee presented a FREE Field Focus 4 educational safety training at Stepping Stone in Parker. The event hosted by Shea Homes, certified 70+ homebuilders and their trade partners, a record-breaking turnout. The training covered the Focus 4 hazards as designated by OHSA: Falls, Struck By, Caught In/Between and Electrical Shock.

The SFI, Compliance instructional trainers provided expertise designed to train and educate those in the residential construction industry. Instruction was tailored to employers and workers in the industry and included non-English and limited English speaking employees and trade contractors.

The HBA of Metro Denver's JobSite Safety Committee is an award winning program that works collectively to facilitate the goal of accident and injury-free job sites by providing education, training, safety certifications and peer support.

Thanks to our sponsors: SFI, Compliance and Simpson Strong Tie.  And to the host: Shea Homes for allowing us to keep this a FREE event.
