Advocacy and Government Affairs Reports

Advocacy to state and local policy makers and other regulatory bodies on behalf of the industry is a critical component of the HBA’s mission.

Home Builder Advocate is a bi-weekly update on key housing policy and regulatory issues affecting HBA membership and the industry at large. Home Builder Advocate highlights the advocacy work of the HBA and its affiliated organizations at the local, state and national levels. All HBA members are emailed the latest issue of Home Builder Advocate every other week.

CAHB communicates with members during the Colorado legislative session about industry-related issues at the state level via the electronic newsletter Capitol CloseUp, which is distributed only to members.  If you are not currently receiveing this 'seasonal' communication, you can request to be placed on the distributuion list by emailing Amie Mayhew.  Membership verification may be required.  Also visit capwiz.com/hbacolorado/state/main/ to learn more about how to stay current with CAHB's Government Affairs efforts.
