Congratulations to the student competition team from the University of Denver’s Real Estate and Construction Management program for capturing Second Place out of 39 schools competing in the NAHB Student Chapters Residential Construction Management Competition at the IBS. Team members Becca Campigotti, Sean Dunham, Max Everett, Michael Golfman, Elsa Goding and Rick Lindstrom began work on October 1, 2009, to prepare and ultimately present their residential case study as part of this nationwide competition on residential construction management, which concluded in January. The students were judged on: Estimate and Budget; Construction Schedule; Cash Flow Projections; Project Management and Organization; Marketing Program and Risk Analysis; Green Building Initiatives; and the quality of the Written Proposal and Oral Presentation. DU's Student Chapter of NAHB is sponsored by the HBA of Metro Denver and we heartily congratulate them on their success.
