Background:
The Remodelors Council provides both HBA members and the public with information and resources on the remodeling industry. The Council’s 90 members participate annually in programs on management training, technical programming and local and national remodeling issues. The authoritative source on remodeling within the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Denver, the Council also maintains a directory of remodeling contractors in the eight-county metro area as a service for consumers. The Council includes members from the HBA, the Colorado Association of Home Builders (CAHB) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Mission Statement:
The Council is committed to improved management and technical competency of council members and excellence in service to the consumer.
Professional Designation:
- The Certified Graduate™ Remodelor (CGR) professional accreditation is available to members. The CGR program is an industry designation program that emphasizes business management as the foundation of a successful remodeling company.
- The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation is the result of the work of the Remodelors Council -- in conjunction with the NAHB Research Center, 50+ Housing Council and AARP.

Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence (CARE): Held annually, the CARE awards recognize excellence in the remodeling industry. Traditionally, more than 60 contractors have entered projects in 17 different categories, including residential design and construction as well as light commercial remodeling and renovation projects.
