HBA Officers and Board of Directors

The HBA is governed by the Senior Officers and the Board of Directors. Participation on the Senior Officers and Board of Directors team is a prestigious honor and requires a significant commitment of time and energy back to the association. Members of the Senior Officer and Board of Directors are either elected by the membership at-large or serve as Presidential appointees.

Nominees for the Board of Directors undergo a rigorous interview process by a nine member Nominating Committee. The final candidates are voted on by the membership at-large at the Annual Membership meeting held in October of each year. Appointees are identified by their role as Chair or Co-Chair of an HBA Council or Committee, or as liaisons to an affiliated industry as dictated by the association’s bylaws.

The Senior Officers and Board of Directors meet monthly to establish association policy and ensure the implementation of the HBA’s mission and objectives.
