HBA Charity of Choice

The HBA of Metro Denver's Charity of Choice is
Home Builders Foundation (HBF)

HBF Mission Statement

Founded in 1993, Home Builders Foundation is the charity of choice of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver.

The mission of the HBF is to build independence and provide opportunities to elevate lives for individuals and families with disabilities and our community.

What HBF Does

Home Builders Foundation changes lives by providing home modifications which help individuals access their home and community, regain independence and improve their quality of life. The HBF’s program is for individuals in the 8-county (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Elbert and Jefferson) Denver metro area that are in need of home modifications related to accessibility. HBF projects range from small modifications to major improvements including bathroom remodels, kitchen modifications and ramps. Click here to view some of our projects!

The HBF relies on a committed network of volunteers and suppliers, most of who are affiliated with the home building industry, to complete the work so there is no cost to the recipient. Many of these volunteers and suppliers donate time and materials; in turn, the HBF is able to leverage the funding used towards a project to be nearly ten times the retail value of the project!
