HBA of Metro Denver Announces Second Annual Innovations Summit

Event to Highlight Leadership Through Alliance in Competitive Home-Buying Market

DENVER – The Home Builders Association of Metro Denver (HBA), a professional trade organization representing home builders, developers and industry suppliers in the eight-county Denver Metro area, will host the second annual HBA Innovations Summit at the Seawell Ballroom in Denver on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, from 2 – 5 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, will feature speakers focused on alliance-driven business strategies in Colorado’s home building industry to better serve the needs of future new-home buyers and consumers looking to remodel their homes.

“To encourage our attendees to think differently about their businesses, the Innovations Summit will feature speakers who will show us the importance of partnerships in our community,” said Brian Cassidy, Chair of this year’s Innovation Summit and Marketing Director of Toll Brothers. “Our goal is to get people at the event talking about the importance of new and innovative strategies to use in an increasingly competitive market.”

The theme for the event this year, “Leadership Through Alliance,” will provide perspectives on how alliance-driven business strategies can allow organizations of all sizes to more effectively compete in today’s marketplace. Speakers for the event include Courtney Ferrell, an innovation consultant who has built a career provoking organizations and individuals to think and behave differently, Kendal Jolly, a former Disney World ambassador who now works as managing director of Toll Brothers and Sonja Rasula, a dedicated entrepreneur that helps businesses spread creative thinking and grow community.

“Building on the success of last year’s event, we believe the 2019 HBA Innovations Summit will continue to empower both the industry and the customers we serve to think about home building in new ways,” said Chérie Talbert, CEO of HBA of Metro Denver. “Several of our member organizations have already received national recognition for their creative approaches to design and marketing, and we hope to continue leading the industry with events like the Innovations Summit.”

Tickets to the HBA Innovations Summit are $125 for HBA members, and $175 for non-members. To register, visit www.hbadenver.com/summit.
