How did you get started in your career?
I was restructured out of a corporate sales & marketing position with a Fortune 500 company. I had always wanted to own my own business and my wife did not like living in Chicago. So, we found a Fastsigns for sale in Arvada 15 years ago and moved from a city where there were 35 days of sunshine to one where there are 350 days of sunshine.
Has there been someone along the way that you credit with helping you to get where you are? And why?
I had a boss back in Chicago who gave me the opportunity to manage a small business acquisition. I moved to Tulsa, OK where the entrepreneurial “bug” was reignited for me. And, where I met my wife! Fastsigns (franchisor) has been very supportive in helping us achieve sustained sales growth and stay at the forefront of a technology-drive industry.
What do you love about the home building industry?
Denver has been a vibrant market in this industry and I enjoy working with motivated and energetic clients.
Tell us three things about yourself that people do not know!
I still have a passion for the game of lacrosse. My 91 year old father was my first coach and I still play and coach to this day. I was a high school math teacher for three years right out of college and am the only member of my family who is not a teacher. Dark Chocolate is my downfall.

Very excited to be a relatively new member of the HBA and to be a part of the AMC.
