RMG – Rocky Mountain Group
Business Development Manager
How did you get started in your career?
I began working for a wireless communications company in the greater Chicago area. The company provided pagers, cell phones (Brick phones), and one number access lines for voice mail.
Has there been someone along the way that you credit with helping you to get where you are? And why?
My sister…because she is always looking for an opportunity to meet someone and connect with that person in some fashion. She was one of the first people to tell me, ‘People remember you because of how you make them feel.’ Hopefully, people remember me because we had a great conversation and get to know each other below the surface.
What do you love about the home building industry?
I enjoy the thought and diversity that is applied to a project. Whether it be an Affordable project to a Custom project or Green Design Building to a new application or product. The process of someone having an idea, making it real and achieving their goal makes this industry interesting and unique.
Tell us three things about yourself that people do not know!
1) I was kicked out of the family band after the first song at my first performance.
2) I’ve had two retired Greyhounds that were adopted off separate racetracks.
3) My goal is to visit every NHL stadium. I’m half way through.
Anything else you would like to share?
I feel it is important and necessary to participate in an HBA: Denver Council in order to succeed and make your membership worthwhile. Becoming involved is where HBA members get to know more about you and your company.
